Repairify debuts at Automechanika with smart technical solutions for repairers

Repairify debuts at Stand F23, Hall 8.0 at Automechanika Frankfurt from September 13-17, 2022 with the introduction of several products designed to support European bodyshops in the collision repair industry through the use of smart automotive technology solutions .

The product portfolio includes asTech Connect, a new remote diagnostics system allowing remote diagnostics of the vehicle. The customer plugs the asTech Connect device into the vehicle through the diagnostic port, which then interfaces with a tool-side platform hosted in Repairify’s data center through the asTech service platform. The vehicle can then be diagnosed, calibrated or programmed over the air, remotely, using OE tools. All activities are overseen and managed by Repairify’s dedicated team of IMI qualified technicians who support the technicians throughout the activity.

The all-in-one asTech is a unique solution that provides both local diagnostic and calibration services through a tablet, including the asTech Connect device that enables access to Repairify remote services over wireless solutions. It is supported by asTech trained technicians and original equipment manufacturers. …/

The market leader asTech Digital ADAS Calibration System integrates with Repairify’s line of diagnostic tools, including everything technicians need to get started with ADAS calibrations. It is the ideal solution for busy body shops with high vehicle turnover, to Thatcham IIR standards.

The fully digital ADAS calibration kit is:
• Industry approved with full audit trail
• Dynamically adapts to vehicle distance and angle
• Saves space and saves time
• Small amount of workshop space required
• Simple to use
• Integrates with Repairify’s asTech and VHC remote technology for newer vehicles
• Upgrades key at key times – no need for sub-contractors or sending the car to major dealerships

The asTech Remote Diagnosis Device is easy to use; simply plug it in to perform vehicle diagnostics, calibrations and programming by allowing the vehicle to communicate with an OEM device at Repairify’s data center. This means that instead of taking the vehicle to a main dealer, they can calibrate or reprogram the vehicle remotely using an OEM tool.

Phil Peace, Managing Director (SVP) International of Repairify, says, “At Automechanika this year, our intention is to communicate Repairify’s commitment to delivering smart technical solutions, backed by a world-class customer experience. As vehicles continue to move forward at a rapid pace, we want to provide our customers with the assurance and peace of mind that by using our technologies and relying on our IMI trained technicians, they can be sure of to be fully supported for their repairs.
