Diebold Nixdorf plans to expand its partnership with the East of England Cooperative to roll out the latest retail self-service solutions designed to improve people’s shopping experience.

Diebold Nixdorf has announced a major update regarding its ongoing partnership with East England Co-operative Society, which is one of the largest consumer co-operatives operating in the UK with over 122 stores. This retailer has successfully deployed over 180 DN SeriesTM EASY eXpress self-service solutions which are exclusively powered by DN VynamicTM self-service software, in around 80 stores across East Anglia. Over 35% of transactions have been self-serviced since the end of the rollout.

In the East England Co-op, there is an absolute need for a solution for its convenience store and supermarket formats. The highly flexible design of the DN EASY eXpress series is part of the DN EASY series family. This platform-based approach ensures that the system easily adapts to changing types of business needs and consumer demands.

Previously, Diebold Nixdorf provided a standard maintenance rate for services to East of England POS systems to ensure a seamless experience with “always on” devices. The collaboration includes a wide range of self-service operations, enhanced help desks, and application services. This collaboration guarantees the customer an excellent experience with “always on” services.
